I am a printmaker, usually working in the relief method of Lino cut, typically monochrome.

I live in New Mills in the High Peak area of Derbyshire, and work in the spare room at home (though a kind friend lets me use his printing press when the plates are too large to do table top printing).

I have moved in and out of printmaking since completing a fine Art degree 30 years ago.  I was taught by a great teacher, called Stan Jones, at Sheffield polytechnic, as it was then.  The ‘in between’ times have been filled with a broad range of ‘Caring’ involvements, from children to parents to NHS to social care work. I am back again printmaking now as my responsibilities have changed, and it feels as absorbing as ever.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work.
